ABA Services
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a covered benefit by most
insurance companies. Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) go through their insurance companies or Medi-Cal
for services. Children with other diagnosed developmental
disorders go through North Los Angeles County Regional Center
for services.
Creative Behavioral Consultants, Inc. (CBC) is an in-network
provider with most insurance companies (See Insurance Menu)
CBC is vendored by the North Los Angeles County Regional
Center (NLACRC) to provide behavioral services to consumers in
the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.
After your case coordinator provides the necessary authorization,
we conduct a thorough behavioral assessment of your child which
leads to the collaborative creation of an individualized treatment
plan. Behavior intervention services are then scheduled and
provided in your home along with personalized parent and
caregiver training.

Parent Education Courses
North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) requires parents of consumers
to attend a mandatory Parent Education Group (PEG) in Applied Behavior Analysis.
PEG classes taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 am. - 1:00 pm. in our Calabasas
office. Please call (818) 932-9644 for our upcoming class schedule. Contact your
Regional Center coordinator to request a PEG Authorization. Provide them with the
dates of the next classes and CBC’s Vendor #: PL0943. They will send us an
authorization and we will contact you when we receive it.
Los Angeles Unified School District
Creative Behavioral Consultants, Inc. is a Non-Public Agency
certified by the California Department of Education. We have a
Master Contract with the Los Angeles Unified School District with
access to each of it’s campuses. LAUSD serves over 600,000
students in kindergarten through twelfth grade at over 1,000
schools.
Services to school district clients include conducting Functional
Behavior Assessments to identify deficit and excess behaviors,
developing Behavior Intervention Plans and Individualized
Education Program Goals (IEP), and providing direct behavioral
services to help each child achieve their optimal potential.

Interventions are developed utilizing evidence-based practice
of Applied Behavior Analysis.
•
Each child’s program is individualized to meet their unique
needs and assist in building self-help, social, and academic
skills.
•
Strong emphasis is placed on acquisition and development of
communication skills, including augmentative methods when
appropriate.

Center, including the 16-hour ABA Parent Education Course
