Our Philosophy
Collaborating with parents, caregivers, teachers and other professionals, CBC takes a client-centered approach and develops individually tailored goals to accommodate each child’s unique strengths and weaknesses. Our goal is for each child to generalize behaviors across environments to help them function to the best of their ability in all situations. CBC is mindful to always provide services in an ethical manner, which includes knowing when to begin fading services to promote independence.
Our People
Dr. Matinata has over 20 years experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis providing services to children with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. He has extensive experience as a Clinical Director, Case Supervisor and Behavior Instructor. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, his expertise includes performing Functional Behavior Assessments, developing Behavior Intervention Plans and Program Designs, training staff in Applied Behavior Analysis and Discrete Trial Training and providing professional consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers and other school administrators.

Dr. Cutter is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who holds a dual license in Marriage and Family Therapy. In private practice she provided services to individuals, families and couples using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has clinical experience working with the families of children and adults with developmental disabilities. As a Case Manager she provided group-supported employment services for adults with Down’s Syndrome and worked closely with the North Los Angeles County Regional Center and Department of Rehabilitation. She is a Parenting Instructor, Curriculum Developer and Published Author. Her three part series on Augmentative Communication Methods for Children with Autism can be found in the Special Education section at www.brighthub.com.
