Daily life with a child with special-needs presents many unique challenges, causing excessive strain that ripples through the whole family system. When your child receives behavior intervention services they will learn new skills to help them communicate their needs and wants more effectively. At the same time, you will learn practical behavioral strategies which will give you the tools necessary to manage your child’s behaviors more successfully. We follow a "teach the teacher" method, which ensures that parent education and involvement is always a key component in our interventions. We will help you regain a sense of control to increase harmony and reduce levels of stress which is beneficial for the entire family. Through education and empowerment, you will learn how to help your child continue to develop the skills they need to function successfully in the world long after our services are no longer needed. Our job is to work ourselves out of a job.
