Q: Where are services provided?
A: Services are provided in your home, at your child's school, and in the community. We
work in the greater Los Angeles area (including San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley,
and Antelope Valley), in addition to Ventura County (Oak Park, Westlake Village,
Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Simi Valley) and Agoura Hills, and Calabasas.
Q: I feel my son is falling behind at school. How can I obtain extra assistance for
him?
A: If your child is not in a Special Education Program, talk to your child’s teacher and the
school's Special Education administrator about your child receiving an evaluation for
Special Education Services and scheduling an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
meeting.
Q: My daughter has never received any home services before. Where do I begin?
A: Change is just a call away 818-932-9644.
Q: I already have a Regional Center
service coordinator. How can my child
begin receiving Behavioral Services from
Creative Behavioral Consultants?
A: Talk to your Regional Center service
coordinator regarding your desire to work
with our agency. Our Vendor Code for
Assessments is PL0945.
Q: Once my child receives approval for services, what happens next?
A: Approval for Behavioral Services is a two-part process: After conducting a thorough
evaluation of your child, we send a written report with our recommendations to the funding
agency. Once the services are authorized, we can begin working with your child.
Insurance companies provide authorizations in 5 business days.
Q: Do you collaborate with other agencies?
A: YES. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach and collaborate with other
professionals such as Social Skills, Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapists.
