A: Services are provided in your home, at your child's school, and in the community. We work in the greater Los Angeles area (including Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley), in addition to Ventura and adjacent counties.
Q: I feel my son is falling behind at school. How can I obtain extra assistance for him?
A: If your child is not in a Special Education Program, talk to his teacher and the school's Special Education administrator about your child receiving an evaluation for Special Education Services and scheduling an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting.
Q: My daughter has never received any home services before. Where do I begin?
A: If you feel your child needs extra help in the areas of self-help, adaptive functioning, social, communication, and/or motor skills, call your local Regional Center Intake Department for assistance.
Q: I already have a Regional Center service coordinator. How can my child begin receiving Behavioral Services from Creative Behavioral Consultants? A: Talk to your Regional Center service coordinator regarding your desire to work with our agency.
Q: Once my child receives approval for services, what happens next?
A: Approval for Behavioral Services is a two-part process: After conducting a thorough evaluation of your child, we send a written report with our recommendations to the funding agency. Once the services are authorized, we can begin working with your child.
Q: Do you collaborate with other agencies? A: YES. We believe in a multi-disciplinary approach and collaborate with other professionals such as Social Skills, Speech and Occupational Therapists.
